Hello, my name is Brooke and I am the proud, caring owner of DayDream Beauty. This little gem of a beauty salon is a tranquil hideaway located near Caloundra. If you have not been to us before, the address will be sent to you 48hrs before your appointment. At DayDream we focus on enhancing your natural beauty and skin. Using natural products where justified including 100% natural sugaring hair removal, lash lifts that lift your natural lashes to new heights, natural looking lash extensions and brow procedures that perfect your natural look. Our attention to detail and the care we take with each of our clients/friends is second to none and we absolutely love what we do. Passion is at the forefront of every treatment we perform.

 

Reverie Skincare is my very own, natural skincare range with Australian botanical ingredients and the most divine scents. Reverie means daydream in french and with a love for animals and nature, all products are 100% natural, vegan friendly and of course, cruelty free. DayDream Beauty and Reverie Skincare were both created on the foundation of self care and self love.

 

Fast track to 2024, after having 2 babies I decided we needed a medical grade skincare line to further enhance your skin results. Now DayDream is very proud to be stocking Australian made, O Cosmedics skincare as well as our botanical, natural range, Reverie.​

A LITTLE HISTORY ON BROOKE AND HER JOURNEY WITH DAYDREAM BEAUTY

After completing my Diploma in beauty in 2009 at the young age of 16, I worked for free at one of the top day spas in Noosa. The owner told me she was not going to pay me but she liked my attitude and wanted to train me. She said ‘If anything, you should be paying me’. I stuck it out and soon became a paid receptionist. Then a paid therapist. Then a paid senior therapist. Then a paid Manager.

My second career in the beauty industry saw me working as a Manager at a salon that was having challenges, (for a lack of better words). With a positive attitude and dedication, I brought the salon and staff back to health and am proud to say, to this day it is still thriving. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 

When I left to move to Caloundra the journey of DayDream Beauty begun. Starting a salon from scratch was difficult at times. I’m not going to lie. Starting a business in a brand new area with no former clients had its challenges. I had to constantly remind myself that it takes time to grow into the butterfly. My passion for what I do kept me going.

 

DayDream Beauty is now thriving. I have a small, passionate team including a hairdresser onsite who is actually my employee's Mum. My wonderful employee, Chelse, and a caring contracted makeup artist, Kayla.  I could not be prouder of how far DayDream Beauty has come.
